MONTGOMERY - This week, Aronov Homes took home seven awards from the Greater Montgomery Home Builders Association to lead the 2006 Parade of Homes competition.
Three homes, two in Montgomery's Deer Creek community and one in The Villas at Brookstone in Prattville, received top honors in several categories.
The first Deer Creek entry, "The Watermark" home on 8841 Lillington Circle, won Best Exterior, Best Kitchen and Best Bathroom - all for the Division 2 category, homes between 2,001 and 2,500 square feet.
The Brookstone home, "The Madison" at 711 Briarcliff Place, was recognized for Best Interior, Best Kitchen and Best Bathroom for Division 1, homes from 1,500 to 2,000 square feet.
Located at 9756 Helmsley Circle, "The Carlisle" brought home another prize for Aronov Homes with an Overall Winner award for Division 1.
James Hamner, president of Aronov Homes, credited the entire "Parade of Homes team" for this success, especially Mike Bartsch, Cal Davis, Scott Sheffield and Kimberly Theus. "They always provide the ultimate in craftsmanship and décor on every project - whether or not it's part of the Parade," Hamner said. "They've helped set a standard that's anything but."
Theus coordinated the materials, paints, lighting and overall look for all three winning homes. "We worked really hard to make these the best homes they can be," she said. "I'm really proud of how everything came together."
The Aronov homes will be open to the public during the Parade of Homes this weekend, and again from Friday, October 6, through Sunday, October 8.
